What The What?

Surprise!

Am I back to blogging? Who knows. It's a Saturday afternoon and it's as hot as Rush Limbaugh's temper when he heard the Supreme Court's ruling on Obamacare. I was reading through my blog and found myself laughing at my own jokes. Do you ever do that? It's sort of nerdy. I don't have anywhere to be for an hour and a half and decided to just post a random blog.

I have been living life that is for certain. I am now an adult with a full-time job at a dental supply company. Yes, I realize that I'm not fully an adult yet because I don't have a wife and kids but someday that will happen. I honestly like being an adult. I like having money and not having to worry about whether eating at the Pizza Pie Cafe Friday night is going to sap me of every penny I have to my name.

I live at home with my mom. Whoever said that living at home sucked must have been an idiot because I love it. I didn't get a fully stocked fridge at school. I didn't get a dresser and closet full of clean clothes at school. I even had to clean my bathroom at school. Ya, living at home is awesome. **Note** I do help around the house, don't think I'm so chauvinistic pig.

I'm not dating anyone. That honestly is the story of my post-mission life. A story that needs to be rewritten because I'm getting bored of it. Yes I know I'm the author but I move as slow as molasses and it takes me awhile to get moving. I actually did date a very awesome girl a couple months back but she wasn't feeling it which was terrible but oh well, you move on. Oh and there is another benefit of being home. I date. I can probably count the number of dates I went on in Logan on one hand, and I have easily doubled or quadrupled that at home. It's just easier for some reason.

I ran a marathon. That was cool. The first 21 miles were fun and awesome. I felt really alive. Then I died. The last five miles were the longest of my life and I was ready to curl up and die. But I made it and I'm ready to do another one.

Well that's about it. That's my life. It's a Saturday afternoon and I'm bored. Who knows if I'll do this again. Until next time, live life and enjoy it. You only get to do it once.

  1. Jason, I genuinely love your blog. If you start yours up again I might even be inspired enough to start mine up again too. Adult life is pretty sweet, I have to admit, mostly because we are adults who are awesome
