The Beginnings of Summer

I really don't have anything to write about other than how this summer is already getting off on a MUCH better foot than last summer. Here's what's happened so far.
  • Sat through a 2 hour orientation meeting at Primary Children's Hospital so that I can be a volunteer all summer. The orientation was great, however, I thought they were going to drug test me so I made sure to drink plenty of fluid before going. Come to find out...no drug test which means I sat there with an incredibly full bladder.
  • Played Ultimate Frisbee like the good 'ol days.
  • Hiked Ensign Peak with menacing rain clouds and once we got to the top were surprised with sunshine.
  • Watched Margaret Yorgason single handedly dominate a game of roller hockey.
  • Enjoyed my "sister from another mister's" wedding. Not only was her wedding incredible but the photo booth at the reception proved to be one of the best and most fun experiences of my life.
  • Ran a 5K Saturday morning to support the fight against childhood cancer.
  • Hiked a great trail up to an incredible waterfall.
  • Played human Foosball in my awesome new singles ward.
Ya it's been really great so far. I can't wait to see how the rest pans out.

P.S. Here are the contestants for the song of summer so far:
Rolling in the Deep by Adele
Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae
Rhythm of Love by Plain White T's
Good Life by One Republic
Young Forever by Ready Set
