I figured that since there is about 3 inches of wet, heavy snow on the ground I'd mention my summer bucket list.
1. Go to Wendover for my cousin's 21st birthday.
2. Play ultimate frisbee every single Tuesday evening.
3. Hike Grandeur Peak for the second time and Mount Olympus and Timpanogos for the first.
4. Spend a ton of time at my dad's cabin.
5. Learn how to drive a stick shift (Chuck, I'll need your help on this)
6. Attend Twilight Concert series often.
7. Attend the free movies on the capital lawn when I'm not at TwiCon.
8. Go to the temple weekly.
9. Make my annual trip to Lagoon.
10. Come up to Logan to hike the trails that are impossible to do while I'm here because of weather.
11. Discover new hole-in-the wall places to eat in Salt Lake.
12. Run a 5K again.
13. Date
14. Spend time with family and friends that I don't get to see too often.
15. Volunteer at a healthcare facility.
16. Work a lot more than I have in the past.
17. Go to St. George to see my grandparents.
18. Go to Lava Hot Springs for my dad's annual 24th of July weekend extravaganza.

21. Attend the Manti Pageant and Manti Temple.
22. Venture to the Witch's House in Memory Grove.
23. Spend the night in Parowan on Cade's land.
24. Pay my taxes off (yep I chose not to save for this event like a good boy would have)
25. Utilize my dad's hot tub to the maximum.
26. Murray 4th of July Parade
26. Mom's 50th birthday in Wendover

ReplyDeleteJason! I know a bunch of hole-in-the wall places in SL! What kind of food do you wanna eat? If you wanna laugh to yourself, go to Victor's Tires! It's a tire store that has tamales and mexican food you can order as well that's not too bad :p 1406 S. 700 W. There's another mexican food place that has a thing called a Molcajete with tons of flavor. It's in the inside of of Mexican Store called El Rancho Market.
ReplyDeleteThere's a place called Tai Saiam that has AMAZING tai food. State Street and between 13th and 17th S. Molca Salsa has amazing chips and salsa and chimichangas... 33rd S. and like 39th E. There's a way good Phily Cheese Steak place in Sandy off State Street and about 100th S. on the west side of the road.
Anyway, here's just a couple of places that are pretty tasty! If you need some more ideas, I'm sure I know of some more! These were just on the top of my head :)
