It has been a longstanding tradition for my bro and I to dub one song that we hear over and over again "the Song of the Summer." Recently however our tastes in music have changed so we no longer do this together but I certainly still do it myself. So listed below are some of the previous "Songs of Summer."
2004: Usher feat. Lil John and Ludacris; "Yeah"
2005: Black Eyed Peas; "Don't Phunk with my Heart"
2006: Cassie; "Me and You"
2007 & 2008 I was on my mission so needless to say the "Song of Summer" for those summers were church related.
2009: Black Eyed Peas; "Boom Boom Pow"
2010: The summer is currently in progress and a lot can change but if I had to pick one song now it would be Katy Perry's "California Girls" just because I'm going to California in August!
